This event has been moved to THURSDAY, APRIL 4th at 7pm at the Scotiabank Theatre Toronto. The Finance Minister announced that he will deliver the Federal budget on March 21st, the same day our event was originally scheduled. As the Senior Business Correspondant at the CBC, Amanda has been called to duty and we have had to reschedule.

Pioneering Women is primarily a resource to support women working in the Canadian Motion Picture Industry, but this unique event is open to all who are interested in building new relationships—within the film industry and beyond. It’s also a great opportunity to learn and participate in an engaging conversation around the philosophies of success (as presented in Lang’s thought-provoking new book).

Globe and Mail columnist Leah Eichler, who writes the wonderful Women@Work feature for the Globe’s Report on Business section and is the founder of r/ally, a mobile tool for building better business relationships, will host the evening and lead a Q&A with Lang.

The event will take place at Scotiabank Theatre; the first 100 guests to purchase tickets will also be invited to an exclusive cocktail gathering following the talk.
