Mark your calendars! Word On The Street Toronto Festival is happening this Sunday September 27 from 11am to 6pm @ Harbourfront Centre.
Word On The Street is a national celebration of literacy, reading and the printed word. Taking place in cities all over Canada each September, Word invites everyone – young and old – to participate in hundreds of author events, presentations, workshops, and to browse a marketplace that boasts the best selection of Canadian books and magazines you’ll find anywhere. Best of all? It’s totally FREE!
We’re excited to check out Rap, Ramble and Repeat, a public talk featuring author and professor Sarah Henstra. We profiled Sarah a few months back after the release of Mad Miss Mimic, her historical novel for young adults.
