The lovable British chef who just wants us all to eat right, Jamie Oliver is bringing his Food Revolution to Massey Hall on Oct. 19th. Celebrating the launch of his new book, Jamie Oliver’s Great Britain, he will discuss all things delicious and take questions from the audience.
If you’re a Jamie Oliver fan, you won’t want to miss his take on foods of the Empire, from pub staples to sweet desserts. The book infuses contemporary British culture with traditional foods you’ve come to expect, like Empire Roast Chicken with Bombay Roasties and Amazing Indian Gravy, or Baby Yorkshire Puds with Creamy Smoked Trout and Horseradish Pate. (We want to be there just so we can hear Jamie Oliver say “Baby Yorkshire Puds.”) He’s also got a recipe called “Kate and Will’s Wedding Pie."
Want to help Jamie toast his homeland at Massey Hall on October 19th? Tweet “Slice me some of Kate and Will’s Wedding Pie with Jamie Oliver @soundboardTO@shedoesthecity” and you could win a pair of tickets to the show from us and our pals at Massey Hall!
