Next friday, transgender YouTube star (and Mississauga native) Gigi Lazzarato (AKA Gigi Gorgeous) will open up about how she built an online following with makeup videos as a teenager. Then, after her mother passed away, she decided to use her channel for another life-changing journey: coming out as a transgender female to an audience of millions.

Following a screening of two-time Academy Award–winner Barbara Kopple’s new YouTube Red documentary This Is Everything: Gigi Gorgeous, Gigi, Gigi’s father David, Kopple and executive producer Scott Fisher take the stage for a candid discussion on gender, identity and the power of the camera.
