On Wednesday, September 11, Telefilm Canada and Birks will honour women who’ve made a considerable impact on the Canadian film industry over the past year.  A jury of film critics picked ten women for the Birks Diamond Tribute. Directors Louise Archambault, Deepa Mehta, Alanis Obomsawin, Sarah Polley and Chloé Robichaud, as well as actresses Évelyne Brochu, Geneviève Bujold, Sarah Gadon, Jessica Paré and Alison Pill, were selected for this honour. We can’t wait to join the red carpet festivities and cheer on our much-loved homegrown talent!
