If you’re in search of a holiday outing that is equal parts funny and festive, The Debaters Live Holiday Tour is the place to be! On December 13 at The Living Arts Centre, two standup comics will face off in a holiday-themed battle of laughs and logic. 

Sean Cullen and Courtney Gilmour will go mistletoe to toe at this comedy stage show hosted by award-winning comedian Steve Patterson. Best known as host of the long-running hit radio show and podcast The Debaters, Patterson has brought a live, festive version of his show to venues across Ontario. With a different pair of Canada’s top standup comics at each stop, no two shows are ever alike.

Before the debates kick off, audiences will enjoy stand-up segments from all three of these award-winning comedians. Afterwards, Cullen and Gilmour will face off in an exhilarating exchange of facts and funny, where the audience picks the winner. 

Both comics are well-equipped to win this battle of holiday hilarity. Courtney Gilmour is a JUNO-nominated standup comedian, television writer, finalist on Canada’s Got Talent, and a regular at the Just For Laughs Festival. She has appeared on This Hour Has 22 Minutes, The Howie Mandel All Stars Gala, Roast Battle Canada, CBC’s New Wave of Stand Up and SiriusXM.

Sean Cullen is a Canadian Comedy Award winner and multi-talented performer. He has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and CBS’s The Late Late Show, and has a number of comedy specials, including Comedy Central Presents and Comedy Now. He was a finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and he wrote and starred in The Sean Cullen Show on CBC.
