If you’re tired of sitting back and watching our city’s homelessness crisis unfold, now’s your chance to move: The Coldest Night of the Year walkathon is coming this February.
This Blue Sea Foundation annual event raises awareness and funding for programs that support people experiencing homelessness. On February 22, 2020, join in a family-friendly walk that raises money for charities serving hungry, homeless, and hurting people in our community. Participating in the Coldest Night of the Year event is an opportunity to get a closer understanding on how difficult it is to be out there on the streets, and at the same time raises funds to support St. Felix Centre. If you are unable to come, you can also donate to a walker or team here.
The walk starts at 25 Augusta Ave. at 5:15 p.m. on Feb. 22, 2020. To find out more, visit Coldest Night of the Year 2020.
