The Olympics are notoriously all about strength, sportsmanship, spirit and – sex? Yep, turns out there was a lot more action happening inside the Olympic Village during the Vancouver 2010 games than what we were seeing on the slopes. Medals are great and all, but now that the torch has been put out, let’s keep things sizzling by paying tribute to some of the x-rated stories worthy of the podium.

Condom shortage in Olympic Village: Apparently the HBC red mittens weren’t the only thing in high demand during the games. The 14 condoms provided for each of the 7,000 athletes, coaches, trainers and officials weren’t nearly enough and an emergency supply had to be airlifted in.

Lago gets suggestive with medal: After winning bronze in the snowboard half pipe competition, Scotty Lago decided to let a lady friend have a little taste of his victory. After TMZ posted racy photos of a girl bending down to kiss Lago’s medal as it hung below his waist, he voluntarily left Vancouver to avoid any further controversy.

Vonn sheds snowsuit for Sports Illustrated: NBC dubbed this year’s games the “Vonn-couver Olympics” for reasons far beyond Lindsey’s athletic ability. The skier first got tongues wagging after posing for Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit issue and has since been unapologetic about using her sexuality to market herself, saying that she would have no problem posing nude.
