Get ready to enjoy your favourite films outside on the big screen! The Toronto Outdoor Picture Show (TOPS) is back August 21-30 with 10 nights of FREE screenings under the stars in celebration of their 10-year anniversary.
TOPS will once again be held at Fort York National Historic Site (100 Garrison Rd.) and will be ticketed in advance for contact tracing and to ensure the maximum allowable number of attendees isn’t exceeded. Physical distancing measures will also be in effect for the screenings and other activities, including at the washrooms and concessions.
The festival kicks off with a screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1954 mystery thriller Rear Window and short films Dinette and The Women’s Hour. The schedule also includes Big, Rafiki, Do The Right Thing, Thelma & Louise, and Twister – all starting at sundown.
Free tickets will be available beginning August 3 with a limit of two per person.
