June is peony season! YES. We can’t get enough of these gorgeous blooms that look like little scoops of heaven. And now that they’re in full bloom, Toronto Flower Market is inviting all to stop by this weekend where the CAMH grounds will be transformed into a fluffy cloud of pink. Get there early to snag your bunch. (Trust us, these babies tend to go fast!)
Vendors include Buds Cutting Garden, Garden in the City, Sweet Gale Gardens, Crystal Star Orchids, Graeme Foers Co, Garden Party, Eculid Farms, Pioneer Flower Farms, Floralora Flowers, La Primavera and Van Geest Brothers.
This month’s florists are Pink Twig and Wild North Flowers. They’ll be joined by The Pop Stand, Morihana and Homebody Collective–a Toronto design company specializing in cement planters.
Toronto Flower Market is open Saturday, June 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at CAMH (1001 Queen St W). Please note: the new entrance during CAMH construction is off Shaw St, just south of Queen St). As always, the market is free and open to the public. Rain or shine.
