Tanya Tagaq and Lido Pimienta Commemorate the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
In commemoration of the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, Indigenous artists Tanya Tagaq and Lido Pimienta are gathering to reflect, pay respect, and give hope to survivors of residential schools. At this evening of healing laughter, storytellers, testimony, traditional drum and dance, celebrated Inuit Singer Tanya Tagaq will perform alongside the Royal Conservatory Orchestra, as well as performances by Afro/Indigenous/Colombian/Canadian singer Lido Pimienta, the Manitou Mkwa Singers, Layla Staats and more.
