A new program from TIFF Community Initiatives is aimed at providing free drop-in film workshops for adults who self-identify as living with mental health issues.
At Make Well, you’ll have a chance to explore film as a medium for creative expression, skills development, and connection within a safe and supportive environment. These fun, low-barrier activities will be facilitated by artists working in film and media. You’ll develop your creativity and skills around communication, teamwork, emotional self-awareness, and problem-solving. At the next session, you’ll explore mood through everyday sounds at Sound Collage.
Workshop takes place on July 6 from 1 to 3 p.m. at TIFF Bell Lightbox (third floor, Learning Studio A). No prior film experience necessary. Snacks provided. This workshop is free, but to secure your spot, sign up at outreach@tiff.net.
