Where will you be when the world ends?
Doomsday, A Survival Guide touches on the post-apocalyptic musings that have fascinated humans for centuries. Set in the steampunk-esque realm of the defunct Hearn Generating Station, this group exhibition by YTB Gallery explores the notion of coming together to build a new society after our current one collapses. Doomsday, A Survival Guide is curated by Geneviève Wallenfeatures artists Franco Arcieri, Tsēma Tamara Skubovius, Marina Fathalla, and Nicole Clouston.
The nomadic gallery, Younger Than Beyoncé (YTB), is Toronto’s newest artist-run centre. We love them because they advocate exclusively for Toronto artists under the age of 33. This summer, they are delving into Toronto’s underground art scene and moving into the Hearn to present this exhibition and a Post Apopcalypse Dance Party on June 18th.
