On Saturday, August 24, Tune Your Ride Collective will be presenting their tenth and FINAL Toronto Bicycle Music Festival, a series of concerts taking place in and between Toronto parks, on stages powered by audience members via stationary bicycles. (Crazy, right?!)
This is a free, family-friendly, bicycle-powered event with performances by past TBMP artistic director and Toronto indie legend Don Kerr’s (Ron Sexsmith, Bahamas, Rheostatics) Communism and award-winning singer-songwriter Abigail Lapell.
Cyclists of all athletic abilities will meet at Etobicoke’s Bell Manor Park (just west of the Humber River) at 11 a.m. to enjoy a late morning concert by BOON’s GOON. Cycle Toronto will then lead a musical group ride to Trinity Bellwoods Park for an afternoon of music (register for the group ride here).
RAIN DATE: Sunday, August 25.
