Just when we thought Toronto couldn’t get any more creative – we got wind of Vacantful – a startup that puts on pop-up productions by transforming vacant spaces collectively each month. (Imagine the possibilities!!) Last month, Vacantful launched their June collective pop-up with over 40 local businesses and brands in one temporary retail location.
This month (tonight in fact!) Vacantful is having its first Fun and Games collective at The Everyday Pop-Up! This event is going to be hosted by Board Again Games (an online board games shop). Attendees can check out products from a dozen local vendors including Premier Toys, Shelfies, handmade finds by Handsome & Lace as well as some snacks and beverages from local producers like Station Cold Brew and Jewels Under the Kilt. The Fun and Games collective pop-up will take place in Parkdale at 1516 Queen St. W.
The Fun and Games pop-up starts tonight (July 23rd at 7 pm) and will run until October 15. The Everyday is open from 12-8pm on Monday to Saturday and 10am-6pm on Sunday and is located at 1516 Queen St. W.
