Beginning this fall, the AGO is extending its hours on Wednesday and Friday nights, offering visitors even more opportunities to enjoy collections, special exhibitions and a variety of exciting offerings including AGO Friday Nights.

Launching November 3, 2015, the AGO’s new hours are:

Monday: Closed
Tuesday: 10:30 am to 5:00 pm
Wednesday: 10:30 am to 9:00 pm
Thursday: 10:30 am to 9:00 pm
Friday: 10:30 am to 9:00 pm
Saturday: 10:30 am to 5:30 pm
Sunday: 10:30 am to 5:30 pm

Starting on November 6, the Art Gallery of Ontario introduces AGO Friday Nights! Kick off your weekends with a social, sophisticated and stimulating night out at the Gallery. Much like AGO First Thursdays, Friday Nights will feature themed programming, music, food, drinks and art-making opportunities. Click here to view the press release.

November’s Friday Nights will celebrate the opening of J.M.W. Turner: Painting Set Free, a major exhibition featuring the experimental and contemplative works of Joseph Mallord William Turner.

Advance tickets for J.M.W. Turner: Painting Set Free will be available starting on October 14. Public on-sale date starts on October 16.
