Ever wanted to break a Guinness World Record?!?! Well, here is your delicious and boozy chance! Tequila Tromba is opening up their warehouse doors to give you a night to remember (or forget, depending on your commitment to tequila). Amongst the hustle and bustle of drinks, food, and music, this gathering aspires to host the world’s largest tequila tasting. If you’d like to be a part of history (and have the most fun possible doing it), then you should probably get your act together and save the date: September 19th, 2013.
First off, the tequila. Every attendee will experience a flight of tequila Tromba’s top three offerings: Trombo Blanco, Reposado and Anejo. To keep everyone’s stomach happy, all of your favourite Toronto restaurants will be represented on site. Seriously. All of them. We’ve got Rock Lobster (a lobster tail in all of my drinks, please!), Playa Cabana (keeping things Mexico-themed), Fonda Lola (a soon-to-be open spot—hello, preview!), The Valdez (your new Spanish lover), Panchos Bakery (a churro explosion), Gourmet Bitches (those ladies know their way around a food truck) and Hot Bunzz (bow down to this Chinese bao haven). Two Fonda Lola tacos come with every ticket purchase. Only $5 to take part in the other delicious eats.
But wait… not finished! Motts will be around to dole out tequila caesars. They’ll be some beer in the house. And for the gangster in you, Mombacho Cigars will be hand-rolling cigars in front of your face. Get ‘em at their freshest!
If you’ve managing to not break you computer device from excessive salivating and/or overall excitement, you can get your tickets here for $39 a piece.
