Age: 24
Hometown: Toronto, Greektown
What do you do? Hairstylist/makeup artist/glorified assistant
What do you love most about where you live? I’ve always loved how helpful and friendly we are to tourists. I see it all the time, especially on the TTC. I walked a family once to the Eaton Centre and it’s nice knowing they’ll go home saying how nice we are.
Your best friend is coming in to town for one day:
Where do you take them shopping? Chinatown or Kensington Market
Where would you spend a sunny Saturday? The beach of course, complete with a dip in the lake.
Where do you go to eat dinner? Kalendar for lemon pie cake…no dinner required, just the cake.
What’s the bar route? Gracie’s for silly dancing and ogling hot bartenders or Augusta House for sillier dancing and ogling hot DJ’s
Can you share with us a great hometown memory? The day I got ‘Toronto’ tattooed across my abdomen was a fun day. Does that count?
What one stereotype about your hometown just isn’t true? That we’re all obnoxious assholes who live in a bubble. Clearly the hate is brought on by jealousy…If i had to get in a car to drive to the store I’d be pissed off too.
How are you celebrating Canada Day? By not helping my friend move!
