After spending much of winter hidden under a duvet, the warmer weather makes one thirst for adventures in exotic new locales. After choosing your destination (check out SDTC’s cross-continent summer music festival guide for inspiration), be sure to pack your journal to record all those stories of crazy seatmates, handsome seatmates, broken-down buses, lost luggage and arrests at the border (“I swear it isn’t mine!”).
Travel tales and road ramblings will be on offer this Friday for Travelogues, the latest installment of Confabulation’s all-true storytelling series.
After a brief stint in NDG, Confabulation is back in the Plateau’s spacious Mainline Theatre – the bigger venue means better seats, better beer, and better sight lines for all. They’re celebrating their extra legroom with an evening of stories about life on the open road, and – judging from their event flyer – at least one about time travel. The stories are all told without gimmicks, props, or notes, and are all true.
Confabulation presents Travelogues:
Friday 25 March, 8-11pm @ Mainline Theatre – 3997 St. Laurent.
