On May 19, Toronto-based artist Nadine Prada is partnering with +focus mindspace (49 Ossington Ave) for a quirky new workshop that uses art to calm your mind and chill you out.
Art Open is geared to make you fully present in the moment via the five senses, using art as the gateway. It’s a great way to slow TF down, re-set, breathe, and de-stress. Prada will take you on a rich, experiential journey during the hands-on, ninety-minute session. It’s the perfect blend of art practice and meditation (no experience required). “You’ll very likely come away with insights about yourself and your life,” notes Prada. “Art has the power to do that for you if you know how to go deep into it.”
