Our favourite all-night art event is back! On Saturday, Oct 4th, from 6:53pm to sunrise, hundreds of thousands will take to the streets to experience contemporary art projects that range from small and intimate to large-scale installations that take over huge public spaces.
This year, the story of Scotiabank Nuit Blanche will be told through 1nspired Night, an immersive experience that allows festival goers to become part of the art. While you wander the different zones late into the night, be sure to tag all your photos with #snbTO. By doing so, your pics will be integrated into a vibrant digital walkway installation that will capture your experience, share it with others. Collectively, these images will capture the kinetic energy, colour, and excitement of Scotiabank Nuit Blanche as it unfolds throughout the night.
Here’s how it works:
- Tagged pictures will be streamed in real time via #snbTO on Twitter & Instagram.
- This compilation of images will be projected throughout the night within a 100 foot walkway of screens at 130 Spadina Avenue. (Just South of Richmond)
Head down and see if you can catch yourself on the big screen, do some dancing in the street, and watch how Artist Jeremy Sutton turns the interactive display into onsite digital pieces of art.
There are more than 125 exhibits to explore, and 12 hours to see and do it all. Girl, make a plan and show us your night with #snbTO! We’ll be looking out for the craziest, most fun, hilarious, weird, and beautiful photos all night long.
