On the first Monday of every month, Cookies Unite celebrates line cooks, sous-chefs and other unsung heroes of the Montreal restaurant biz. The brainchild of chef Gita Seaton, Cookies Unites offers a gourmet set menu for $30, prepared by inventive line cooks and served up in an unpretentious setting. After getting its start at Depanneur Le Pick-Up, Cookies Unite recently relocated to Le Nouveau Palais, Bernard Ave’s classic post-party diner.

Next month’s Cookies Unite will be Monday December 6, at 7:00pm at Nouveau Palais (281 Bernard Ouest). Sunny Stone is the featured guest chef, Montreal’s pickling and preserve queen, who looks like a rock star and cooks like an animal.
