For the first three Sundays of December, enjoy shopping for unique and authentic gifts (while enjoying delicious Indigenous food) at the Sunday Indigenous Market! Head to the Native Canadian Centre of Toronto (16 Spadina Rd., just north of Bloor) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on December 4th, 11th & 18th.
This market was established to support and encourage the arts by providing an outlet for the sale of Indigenous-made crafts. They enforce a “Make it, Bake it, Grow it, Catch it” policy (read: no commercially made products). Look for delicious traditionally prepared foods, baked goods, jam, sauces, crafts, fine art, handcrafted decor, jewelry, clothing and more!
The marketplace is free to enter. For more information, visit here.
