Talk about a stacked (all-Canadian) lineup! This summer is already shaping up to be a great one music-wise, and here’s another reason: City and Colour, Metric, Jimmy Eat World, Yukon Blonde, and Serena Ryder are playing The Commons at Butler’s Barracks National Historic Site in Niagara-On-The-Lake on Saturday, June 29. Woo!
It will be City and Colour (Dallas Green, aka Mr. Leah Miller)’s first show in the Niagara Region since he released his debut album seven years ago, so you know it’s gonna be good. The event is all-ages, and considering doors open at 2:30pm on the day of the show, it will probably feel like a mini-music fest—plus Niagara-On-The-Lake is drool-worthy gorgeous.
Tickets are $49.50 plus service fees, and go on sale this Friday, March 1 at 10am ET through Ticketmaster. There will also be a limited number of VIP tickets available ($99.50 plus service fees); this includes access to a VIP area with a great view of the stage, bleacher seating, a bar, a shaded area (pack your sunscreen!), separate washrooms, premium food vendors, and fast pass entry. But regardless of what ticket you go for, this concert is a great way to support some cool Canadian acts.
