It should come as no surprise that podcasts are the fastest growing content platform around; it’s a medium that’s intimate, immediate and challenging all at once. That’s why we couldn’t be more pleased to hear that Canada’s first international podcast festival is on its way to the Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema (506 Bloor St. W) November 18-20th.

The Hot Docs Podcast Festival will feature award-winning podcasters presenting their podcasts live for the first time ever (or the first time in Canada) at this inaugural event. Featured podcasts include Radiotopia’s award-winning Criminal; Gimlet Media’s iTunes chart-topper Science Vs.; and CBC’s Sleepover (hosted by SDTC favourite, Sook Yin Lee).
