The sixth season of Shorts That Are Not Pants kicks off July 13th with a lineup of the best, shortest films ever (just 40 seconds long!) amongst a selection of animated films.

Highlights include:

  • DEATH IN SPACE: At 40 seconds long, it’s the tiniest film Shorts That Are Not Pants has ever shown.
  • SWEET MADDIE STONE: Maddie Stone (Jessica Barden – The Lobster, Penny Dreadful) rules her schoolyard candy trade in this award-winning and hard-hitting drama.
  • LOVE: Hungarian animator Reka Bucsi’s dreamy exploration of attraction and losing oneself in another.
  • UMBRA: A student film from Brenna Baines, currently enrolled in Seneca College’s Animation programme.
  • PUSSY: A young woman is spending the evening alone at home and decides to engage in some sweet solo pleasure. But not everything goes according to plan.

The first night of screenings takes place Thursday July 13th at 7:00pm at Carlton Cinemas. Tickets are $12 at the door or $10.20 in advance.
