Movies, music, and beer….under the stars. THAT, my friends, is how we do summer. And Open Roof Festival’s lineup this season is AMAZING.
For it’s 6th year, Open Roof Festival returns to 99 Sudbury, every Wednesday from June 17th – August 19th. We love this festival SO MUCH that we decided to jump into bed with them as an official media partner.
If you’ve been before, you know this is one of the coolest summertime happenings in Toronto. If you haven’t, here’s the drill: Tickets are $15, evening kicks off at sundown each Wednesday, each film is paired with a live music act , and there is beer, lots of beer. Amsterdam Brewery will keep you refreshed all night long. If you’re coming straight from work and haven’t eaten, don’t worry. For 2015, the fest has teamed up with Aura by Cashew and Clive to feature a unique menu at every event, right outside on the patio. ALL OF THIS UNDER THE STARS.
The 2015 season will kick off this year with Brett Morgan’s documentary Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck, and multi-instumentalist/singer-songwriter Tomi Swick.
The Overnight, While We’re Young, Unexpected, Pretend We’re Kissing, The Sandwich Nazi: Open Roof Festival’s programming offers a diversity of genres, with everything from compelling documentaries to strange sexual encounters and homegrown hits. Check out the schedule now and find your perfect pairing.
Ten weeks of movies and music to choose from! See you under the stars very soon.
