To quote my friend that lives on Roy, “3rd anniversary?! Jesus!” Yes, it’s been three years since scummy skate-punk watering hole Roy Bar bit the dust, and was replaced with the decidedly swankier Salon Officiel. They’re celebrating with a big anniversary bash this Tuesday, featuring DJ sets from Grandom, l’Etiquette, Steve Cantin, Pat Dynamite and Black Tiger Sex Machine.

Drink specials include $3 vodka shots and grosse Tremblays for $5 (all night), as well as pints of Belle Guele and vodka cocktails for $5 (before 11pm).

For some reason, the caps-lovin’ organizers claim the party will be reminiscent of a <> (Which literally translates as “festivities worthy of a Dubai party! Petrol will flow like a well that gushes!”) They’re also promising “ben de l’alcool,” and therefore ask that you leave your “Bentley chez toi”. Will do.
