There’s a lot of things we can thank the British for: fascinators, afternoon tea, Doc Martens, double-decker buses, Shakespeare, football, Mr. Bean – but above all, THE MUSIC!
From The Beatles to David Bowie to The Spice Girls, England has produced some of the greatest musical acts of all time and to celebrate, a new colonial party program is invading Neutral (349-A College St.) tomorrow with a night dedicated solely to music from the great kingdom.
Expect to hear tunes from the 60’s to now, in order, including the songs you know, the ones you don’t and those that are too cheeky to mention.
Enjoy $3.50 rail drinks and $4 beers until midnight and lashings of jolly good fun all night. Cover is $5 (or about 3 British Pounds if you’re doing the math).
