Pastel balloons! Party hats! Bouncy castle! Since Boobyball has had just about every theme – sailor, disco, flapper – this year they decided to theme the annual gala BEST BIRTHDAY PARTY EVER! And it was. Held at Andrew Richard Design Lofts, on Adelaide East, hundreds of girls slammed cab doors shut and click-clacked into Rethink’s fundraiser with an unwavering mission: FUN!

We either read the memo wrong, or entirely right because when we think of a childhood birthday, we think of pink tracksuits and glittery plastic jewelry. Apparently everyone else thinks of cleavage enhancing cocktail dresses and six inch heels. Either way, the fashion was fun to fawn over and we snapped a gazillion pics. Some are more, um, spirited than others.

Although we never made it into the bouncy castle, we could hear the shrieks of glee as we waited in line for a fancy portatoilet.

It was a good time had by all and we were happy to raise a glass for a charity that has done so much for young women.
