On Monday November 16, David Thomson launches his engrossing new book, How to Watch a Movie, which offers brilliant insights into the act of watching movies and how we can get more out of our filmgoing experiences.
David Thomson has received critical acclaim for his many years as a movie critic and has even been referred to as “the greatest living film critic and historian,” by The Atlantic. He has written about film for as The New York Times, The Guardian, The Independent, The New Republic and Salon.
The event, hosted by film writer Geoff Pevere (The Globe and Mail), takes place Monday November 16 at 6:30 pm at Bloor Hot Docs Cinema as part of Ramsay Talks.
