We hope you’re having a wonderful summer, lady pals! Beach days, ice cream trucks and patioooooos. Yeah, baby! It’s been a glorious summer in the city and it’s about to get even better with a Hawaiian Tropic giveaway we know you’ll LOVE!

But first, we have to get some housekeeping out the way. As fun and carefree as summer should be, there’s one thing that we ALWAYS need to be mindful of – protecting our skin, and nobody does it better than Hawaiian Tropic. Here are three tips for staying on top of the sun protection game (and away from the burn-y game):

  1. Make sunscreen a part of your daily routine. Whether you use an app to remind you or throw it on when you do your makeup or brush your teeth, it’s super important to protect your skin on the daily from UV rays.
  2. Don’t forget to reapply, especially if you’re working outside, sweating or swimming. Sun is strongest between 10am and 2pm so be EXTRA careful during the peak hours.
  3. Use the product wisely! Your face requires a teaspoon-equivalent of sunscreen while your arms and legs need a tablespoon.
