Winter doesn’t officially start for another month, but the season is already in full swing at Ontario Place!
Beginning this Friday, November 23, through March 17, the West Island of Ontario Place (955 Lake Shore Blvd. W.) will be Toronto’s go-to destination for winter-themed activities and attractions. Highlights include the Winter Light Exhibition, featuring eighteen light exhibits created by artists from across Toronto; a synthetic ice rink with on-site skate rentals, concessions, and a BeaverTails food truck; DJ skate parties; a community bonfire; and fairy light-wrapped trees lining the West Island pathways.
The Cinesphere will be screening Ridley Scott’s 2007 film Blade Runner: The Final Cut for the opening weekend, followed by other classics like Die Hard, The Sound of Music, and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.
