This Thursday, grab your bicycles and join Art Spin as they wrap up their ninth season with a tour of four newly commissioned, site-specific works around the Toronto Port Lands.
In keeping with the Art Spin experience, specific details about the programming and location will be kept under wraps until the day of the tour. It will feature new works by the Deaf Culture Centre, a dance performance by Erin Poole and Christianne Ullmark, and a project by Vanessa Brazeau presented in partnership with Myseum of Toronto. Attendees will also get to experience a nomadic project by Art Spin’s artist in roving residency, Daniel Rotsztain, along with music from DJ General Eclectic and his Boom Bike.
The tour begins at 6:30 p.m. at Corktown Common (155 Bayview Ave., just east of the Distillery District) and will be followed by an afterparty at Art Spin’s latest curated exhibition, “Desired Lines,” located inside a warehouse at 291 Lake Shore Boulevard East. The party will feature a live musical performance by T.Dot BANGERZ Brass, choice selections by DJ General Eclectic, and food by Travelling Chicken.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here.
