This Saturday night, the Gladstone Hotel is getting into the holiday spirit with ugly sweaters and beer tasting. Whether you fancy yourself a beer connoisseur or just like to enjoy a pint every now and then, you’re bound to find a beer (or 12) worth cozying up to from one of the many craft breweries on hand.

The party kicks off at 7 p.m. in the Melody Bar and Ballroom for two huge rooms of holiday beer-tasting fun, plus a festive sweater competition, snacks, and all your favourite cliché holiday music hits! (It wouldn’t be a holiday party without a little Mariah, right?)

There will be $10 cover at the door, but once you’re inside, you’re free to taste all the beer you want. Stick around afterwards for a performance by old timey jazz band Combo Royale in the Ballroom and Shameless Karaoke in the Melody Bar.
