The staff of Shedoesthecity had the pleasure of indulging in a delightful and delicious dining experience last Monday at Front Street Foods.
As part of our Meet the Makers series, we have been showcasing an exposé each week on some of Front Street Foods’ artisan food vendors. But last Monday, we got a chance to sample some of the goods for ourselves as the 28 vendors showcased their specialties and spoiled us rotten. We were served the best of the best, the hits from their select menus, and it was ALL amazing. Some crowd favourites were the refreshing gazpacho from Cava Sur and the flavourful shrimp soba noodle salad from Little Fin.
And guess what? Front Street Foods has been doing so well this summer that they’ll be running another month, meaning you have more time to check it out with your friends, coworkers or book club! Stop by for breaky, brunch, lunch, linner, dinner, or dessert (psst…we recommend Jedd’s Frozen Espresso Custard).
Front Street Foods now runs until September 27 from Monday to Friday (7 am to 9 pm), Saturday (11 am to 9 pm) and Sunday (11 am to 6:30 pm). The vendors are located just outside of Union Station between Bay Street and York Street.
