The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery’s annual Power Ball fundraiser continues to reign as Toronto’s most outrageous and indulgent bash, where adults live out their fantasies through art, fashion, food and bad behaviour (the naughty kind of bad, not the bad bad).
At Power Ball XVIII: Pleasure Principle, we were encouraged to connect with the sensually divine, be it on our lips or in our groins. We danced in a mouth tunnel, ate meat off a spit, had three too many Absolut cocktails, got a wee bit messy and had heated conversations about art, politics, sex, and gender.
As always, when it comes to bold fashion statements, there is no other event that compares. Enjoy the photos. Until next year!
