BAM! It’s on. For the opening night of TIFF, ET Canada hosted their annual festival bash and errrrrrryone was there. Beyond all the regular players in Toronto’s fashion and media crowd (e.g., Jay Strut, Afiya Francisco and Michaela May) the green bash, sponsored by Prius, was also attended by a delightful motley crew, including Chef Susur Lee, two-time Oscar winner Paul Haggis (Million Dollar Baby, Crash), rapper Kardinal Offishall, model-turned-actor Erika Linder (who stars in Serendipity’s steamy Below Her Mouth), Lyric Bent and Richard Short from Mary Kills People, and our favourite Canada’s Next Top Model host, Stacey McKenzie.
Of course, the usual suspects from ET Canada were also peppered throughout the party, dazzling and charming guests with ease. Of all the talent we met, we were most struck by local songstress Kreesha Turner who hands-down had the boldest style of the night. (See pic above. Right? Gorg.)
Fun times. Maybe too much fun for DAY 1. Stay hydrated, friends.
