A Tribe Called Red, Feist, Broken Social Scene, Timber Timbre, NEFE, Hannah Georgas: Field Trip 2017 was a beautiful ode to homegrown talent. And while it goes without saying that the music transcended us to a magical place, what we also love about wandering the fields of Fort York is the casual anthropological study that takes place while we sip a cold brew and observe the crowd.

Here are some of the incredible species that caught our attention. From their warm smiles to the small fashion details that said so much, the people filled us with as much inspiration and wonder as the music, food, and festivities that coloured Fort York Garrison Common.
