It’s impossible to hit every party during TIFF, so we handpicked 20 women, whose style and charisma we admire, to be our spies. They’re red carpet ready in five minutes, always on the guest list, and help bring a party to life with their magnetic personalities and endless energy. Each day they’ll report back the juicy details from the night before.
Name: Raji Aujla
Describe your involvement with TIFF: Cultural Curator of Spoke Club (one of TIFF’s hospitality partners); by that I mean program our schedule, support events put on by our partners, and chirp on social media.
The parties you attended last night: Blue is the Warmest Color after party at the Thompson Hotel, TIFF Opening Night Gala, and the super great Nikki Beach Opening Night at The Spoke Club.
What did you wear: GIA crepe de chine striped dress by BCBGMAXAZRIA, Pamela Love Arrowhead Ring, and the most uncomfortable but sexiest L.A.M.B. Dominica Open Toe pumps.
Describe the crowd using just 3 words: Beautiful, energetic, and busy.
Hear anything interesting? Weird? There was this dubious woman who I saw at two out of three of these events; she kept talking about me without knowing I was standing beside or in front of her. Kinda strange.
What you drank: FIJI water multiplied by 1,000,000.
Which statement best describes the party:
- Best TIFF night EVER!
- WTF just happened? O-M-G….omg. GAHHHH!
- Celebrities? Who cares, we danced our asses off and met people from Denmark. So there.
- I liked the party favours but not sure it was really a “TIFF” party.
- Party was a-ok but then shit got real at the after-after party. Er, not for the internet.
- I think I saw someone famous. I dunno.
- OB-NOXXXXXXXX-IOUS! Way too many egos.
- The night would have been better had I stayed home to organize my accounting. Snoozefest!
A little bit of #1 a little bit of #2. Everything just merged into one big awesome crazy blur.
If you could do it again, would you change anything?
Not a single thing.
