I’ve found it quite difficult to not bore everyone’s socks off with music reviews each week – but seriously and for reals, 2010 has been quite the year for live tunes in our fair city. Every single month, the number of outrageously fantastic bands performing in Montreal has immediately contradicted the amount of money in my bank account. With this in mind, it only seemed fitting to compile a Montreal 2010 soundtrack to wrap-up such an amazing year in live music, and to celebrate the fact that these super-rad musicians consistently keep Montreal on their North American tour schedules. Rumours are circulating and several dates have been set – the new year will definitely offer 2010 stern competition. Proof: Metropolis will be hosting Robyn, Interpol and Lykke Li before the 2011 summer festival season even begins. Bring it!
