Join the Drake Hotel (1150 Queen St. W.) and other West Queen West hotspots this Sunday for the launch of QWest, an annual celebration of arts and culture!

Businesses along Queen West will be opening their doors to showcase what makes the neighbourhood so unique. Visitors are invited to explore each cultural landmark and discover visual, performance-based, and musical treasures along the way.

QWest begins at noon with a talk and tour of “All About the Hustle” at Artscape Young Place (180 Shaw St.), then it’s off to MOCCA (952 Queen St. W.) to check out the gallery’s final Queen West exhibitions: “Dean Baldwin: Q.W.Y.C” and “Elmgreen & Dragset: Drama Queens.” The tour also includes stops at Workman Arts, Propeller Gallery, and the Theatre Centre, culminating with a sculpture installation at the Drake’s Room 222 gallery and a party on the Sky Yard.
