Over 200 artists and artisans will be descending upon Trinity Bellwoods Park this weekend for the Queen West Art Crawl, a three-day art festival celebrating the art, culture, and diversity of the Queen West neighbourhood. 2015 marks the 13th year of the festival and promises to be the best one yet!
Festivities begin Friday night at Artscape Youngplace (180 Shaw St.) with over 15 installations, a cash bar courtesy of Steam Whistle and Tag Vodka, and food provided local hot spots Sud Forno, Lucky Penny Cafe, and Dufflet Pastries. The party runs from 7 to 11 p.m. and admission is free.
The cornerstone of the Queen West Art Crawl is the Outdoor Art Exhibition, taking place Saturday and Sunday from 11-6 p.m. in Trinity Bellwoods. The exhibition features a juried selection of some of Ontario’s best artists and artisans, a beer garden, interactive art for adults and children alike, musical performances, and delicious eats.
