Winter is coming. Thankfully, the Long Winter concert series is back to help make those cold, dark nights a lot more tolerable.
Celebrating its fourth year, Long Winter kicks off this Friday at the Great Hall (1087 Queen St. W.) with performances by Calvin Love, Sahara, Elaquent, Pony, Mieke, Sasha Chapin, C418, Bossie, Eyeballs, Dilettantes, Practice Wife, Cris Derksen, and The Muscadettes.
The first installment will also feature hilarious jokes told by Laugh Sabbath, DJs, zines, a photo booth, an arcade curated by the Hand Eye Society, food from Steambox Dumplings and Craig’s Cookies, a live talk show hosted by music journalist Vish Khannaand, and much more.
Tickets are $10 in advance or PWYC at the door. All ages welcome.
