The new Onsite Gallery – the flagship professional gallery of OCAD U and an experimental curatorial platform for art, design and new media – opens September 16th at 199 Richmond St. W. Celebrate by hitting up the Onsite Gallery Grand Opening & Street Party with us!
The street party will be led by CBC’s Amanda Parris and will feature live performances and presentations by well-known Indigenous artists, including DJ Classic Roots, Duke Redbird, Janet Rogers, Long Branch, Charlena Russell, Red Sky and Logan Staats.
Check out the sprawling 8000 sq ft space and brand new exhibits: raise a flag: works from the Indigenous Art Collection 2000 – 2015 (including works by Christi Belcourt, Rebecca Belmore, Annie Pootoogook and many more) and For This Land (Inside Elemental).
The Grand Opening & Street Party is FREE and takes place on Saturday, September 16 from noon to 6 p.m at Richmond St. W. between Duncan & Simcoe.
