It’s no secret; living in a big city can leave a lot of us feeling overwhelmed, anxious and misplaced. Sometimes the simple act of meditation can have a ripple effect on our entire lives.
So what is meditation anyway?
Meditation is the practice of self-awareness in the present moment while observing breath and sensation. Cultivated through stillness and silence, meditation allows us to look inward in this quiet act of love, peace and compassion. Meditation has a wealth of positive effects, not least of which being the ability to let go.
