People usually gasp when they learn that I’ve never seen Jurassic Park. I try hard to steer the conversation away from other cinematic classics, because I don’t want to send anyone to the hospital with the knowledge that I’ve never sat through a Star Wars flick either.

The smug feeling that comes with refusing to see your favourite movie is easier to maintain than actually seeing it.

The joke’s on me though, because the Royal Cinema is playing Jurassic Park tonight as part of NOW Magazine’s Free Flick Mondays. Chosen to celebrate the great season we just had with The Raptors (#WeTheNorth), the movie starts at 7:30 PM, though doors open an hour before.

We recommend getting there early to secure a seat and a bag of free popcorn given to the first 100 guests in line.
