U of T’s annual Night of Ideas extravaganza returns this month with a pertinent theme for 2020: Being Alive.
Previous Nights of Ideas came complete with dance parties, screenings, food and crackling conversation, and this year’s all-night event is looking fantastic. Confirmed speakers include writer, philosopher, and curator Paul B. Preciado; fashion educator and researcher Ben Barry; genderqueer drag queen, storyteller, and creator Patrick Salvani/Ms. Nookie Galore; disabled, gender non-confirming/nonbinary trans performer and visual artist Wit López; and Loree Erickson, Professor at the Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies at University of Toronto.
Opening reception kicks of at 5 p.m. on January 25th at the Art Museum at the University of Toronto (7 Hart House Circle) and the party goes ’til late. Stay tuned for updates right here.
