Skoah is now offering up a side of brow waxing with their popular facials. Whether you need a little grooming, or a full brow makeover (trust me, it’s easy to let things go when you have bangs), you can pair it with a facial in one, multi-tasking trip.
The new chiiki brow bars are located within existing skoah locations. They’re called that because they were inspired by skoah’s house line of make-up, chiiki munki. Instead of the normal, sticky stuff, chiiki bars use a cream wax to reduce irritation. That means less pain during your appointment and no awkward angry brows every time you leave.
You’ll also get a trim with each sitting. Too many places (especially cheap ones) don’t do trims; a personal pet peeve. It makes a huge difference in the overall look. Appointments include a hand and arm massage and a lesson on how to maintain brows between waxes, so you can push that next session back a week or two. Don’t be afraid to ask how to properly do a trim!
Basic treatments or tints are $30, or you can pick up both for $45. They’re also offering a lip “de-fuzz” service (there’s an optimistic term).
Naturally skoah is throwing a few parties to celebrate their newest endeavour. This Thursday head to any BC location for some free drinks, brow demos, and make-up tips.
