Resonances Vernissage @ Eastern Bloc
In their first collaborative installation, entitled Resonances, Montreal artists Emily Gan, Sabrina Ratté and Michael Shu delve into the nature of constructed landscapes, textures, and reflected surfaces.

Pre(fab): the Uninvited @ Tangente
Patrick Lloyd Brennan’s latest choreography, Pre(fab): the Uninvited will be premiering at Tangente this week as part of Danses Buissonieres, a program showcasing recently graduated emerging choreographers.

FRIDAY

Rock.Art.Fund @ Trois Minots
An evening of art and music in support of the Social Justice Committee of Montreal, an independent human rights organization providing education and advocacy about global poverty and inequality. The evening will feature live performances by Ol’ Savannah & Uncle Bad Touch. DJ Ruby Jane will be spinning all night long. & a wide array of original art by local artists will be on display and for sale through silent auction. All proceeds from donations and art sales will go to the Social Justice Committee in support of their public education programs.
$8 minimum donation at the door. Doors open at 8:00pm. Results of the silent auction will be announced at 11:30pm. Trois Minots – 3812 St Laurent.

Robyn Cumming: Frisette Vernissage @ Galerie PUSH
Toronto artist Robyn Cumming’s most recent series of photographic works are presented in Frisette, her first solo exhibition at Galerie PUSH. She’ll be present for the Frisette opening on Saturday September 18 at 2pm.
